Muslims around the world celebrate two religious festivals a year. This festival is called "Eid". Eid means happy day. All Muslims celebrate these two Eids through many events. All their arrangements start from the thanks of one God. Yes, that's right. I am talking about Eid prayers. Everyone from young to old attends Eidgah Maidan for Eid prayers. There is also a lot of circumcision on the day of Eid. There is a joy or happiness in following all the rules starting from Eid prayers. But if this happiness or joy that surrounds the Eid prayers, if those prayers cannot be performed in the right way, then the joy is lost in many parts. In this article we will know the correct rules for performing Eid prayers, some of the circumcised acts of Eid and some important information about Eid. So let's find out without further ado.

Eid

Eid is celebrated twice a year. One is Eid-ul-Fitr and the other is Eid-ul-Azha.

Eid-ul-Fitr: Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated on the first day of the month of Shawwal at the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Here Eid means joy and Fitr means breaking the fast. Since the fast is broken on this Eid after fasting in the month of Ramadan. Yes, so the name of this Eid is Eid-ul-Fitr.

Eid al-Adha: This is the second Eid of the Muslim year. This is an important day in the eyes of Islam because it witnesses a special event in the history of Islam. On this day, according to the command of Allah, Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) was ready to sacrifice his son Hazrat Ishmael (AS). Every Muslim knows this fact. Eid of this sacrifice in his memory.

Circumcision works on the day of Eid

Sunnah is the standard that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) left for us. So as a Muslim we should observe Sunnah. There are some circumcision works on the day of Eid. We should know about these and follow them. The circumcisions are:

• Take a bath in the morning and get clean.
• Fragrant. In this case you should use halal perfume. So refrain from using various haraam perfumes. There are many halal perfumes available in the market. You can use these.
• Reading clean clothes. The point to note here is that clean clothes mean but not new clothes. Whether he is new or old, just be clear. Because not everyone can afford it. It is not the norm in Islam to look down on one's ability.
• It is sunnat to eat something sweet on Eid-ul-Fitr. However, it is better not to eat anything before Eid prayers on Eid-ul-Azha.
• It is sunnat to recite takbeer aloud in the street while going to the Eid field. [Eid takbeer is given below]
• Performing Eid prayers in the field.

Eid takbeer (takbeer tashrik):

Eid takbeer is called takbeer tashrik. In the case of Eid-ul-Adha, it is obligatory to recite Tashrik in takbeer for a total of five days from the ninth to the thirteenth of the month of Zilhaj. After these five obligatory prayers, Tashreeq is to be recited in takbeer.

The correct pronunciation of Tashreeq in Takbir:

Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illallahu wallahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa lillahil hamd.

Meaning: Allah is great, Allah is great; God is great, there is no god but God; All praise is due to Allah, Allah is the Greatest.

It is obligatory for the Muslim Ummah to recite this takbeer from Fajr on the 9th of Jilhaj to Asr prayers on the 13th. The virtue of this is: Allaah gives Tawfeeq to His servants to share in the love of Allaah and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) if they recite Tashreeq in takbeer after these 23 obligatory prayers. Amen.

The correct rules for performing Eid prayers:

Eid prayers are performed twice a year and the rules for performing Eid prayers are a little different. So many forget. It is obligatory to offer two rak'ats of Eid prayers with the Imam. There are six additional obligatory takbeers. There is a lot of joy around Eid around these prayers. So these prayers should be performed properly. The rules of Eid prayers are given step by step below:

1. First you have to stand behind the Imam in a row and make an intention.
2. Saying "Allahu Akbar" I will raise my hand up to the ear with the Imam and release him. The hand will not interfere. If Imam Sahib says "Allahu Akbar" again, I will raise my hand up to my ear and release him again. This is the third time that when the Imam says "Allahu Akbar" again, he should raise his hands up to his ears and tie his hands.
3. This time the Imam will bow and prostrate after Surah Fatiha and any other Surah like other prayers. The rules for bowing and prostration will be the same as for other prayers.
4. This time, in the second rak'ah, the Imam will recite Surah Fatiha and another Surah. Many of them think of going to ruku again. But no! After finishing the surah, Imam Sahib will say "Allahu Akbar" three times again. Raise your hands up to your ears three times and lower your hands again. The hand will not interfere. Then for the fourth time when Imam Allahu Akbar says, you have to bow down.
5. Then, like other prayers, one has to perform ruku sijdah and other prayers and return the salaam and finish the prayers.

At the end of the prayer, the Imam will give two sermons. It is obligatory to listen to this sermon.

What we should do on the day of Eid:

In addition to circumcision and obligatory work on the day of Eid, we have something to do according to the rules of Islam. Every Muslim should have knowledge about this. Here are the things to do:

• On the day of Eid, one has to find out about the neighbors, the poor and the miserable.
• It is obligatory for the rich to pay Fitr in charity on Eid-ul-Fitr.
• It is haraam to fast on the day of Eid. So fasting cannot be kept.
• It is obligatory to offer sacrifices to the able-bodied on Eid-ul-Azha. So sacrifice according to your ability.
• Divide the sacrificial meat into three parts according to Islamic rules and distribute them properly.
• Give everyone a chance to share in the joy of Eid.
