A short speech/ presentation about the father of Bengali Nation "Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman" is given bellow.

Thanks to the presented to give me a chance for speaking. At the beginning of my speech, I would like to give my Salam to all honorable personality, teachers, judges and others who are present here. "Assalamu-Alaikum". This is Farhan Labib (your name) speaking, business studies department, Daudpur college. Now I am on this stage to give a short lecture about the selected topic which is " Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman".

He is our leader, our pride. As a part of Bengali Nation everyone from children to the elderly knows about this important character 'Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur' Rahman very well. Sheikh Mujibur was born in a village named 'Tungi para' in 'Gopalganj' district on 17 March, 1922. We all know that : No one becomes popular by his birth, but by what he does. It is same for bangabandhu sheikh mujibur Rahman. The Bengali Nation will always remember his contribution with reverence. He is called the father of Bengali Nation. He is not only a honorable character in Bangladesh, But also an inportant personality in all over the world.

Why he is the father of Bengali Nation? what did he do? Let's find the answers.

I am going back in history of 1952 of Bengali Nation when the language movement held, Bangabandhu took part in this movement. Bangabandhu was also an important part of 6 point movement in 1966. When in 1969 the then President of Pakistan, 'Yahya Khan' declared general election, our leader Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman took part in this election with his team. He got most of votes, but he was not given the power. Then the Pakistani Army started torturing us. Finally on 7 March in 1971 Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman gave the historical speech. By which all of Bengali Nation inspired to become free. One of the most valuable part of Bengali Nation held on the first section of 26 March 1971. It is called the independence day of Bengali Nation. On this day, when the Pakistani ruler was coming to imprison our leader Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman just at this moment he declared the Independence of Bengali Nation. People of Bengali nation started the liberation war, which was running for 9 months and then we get our independence. After Independence, Bangabandhu was working for making this country as "Golden Bangladesh". But Alas! He was killed by some terrorist army on 15 August 1975.

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman died in 1975, but he is still alive in the hearts of million of people. We have to be  sincere, honest and vocal against in injustice as he was. When all the leader of Bangladesh will be honest as Bangabandhu, when all the people will be patriot as bangabandhu, then we will get the "Golden Bangladesh" what our leader wanted.
